The X Factor Top 12 Results: Who Was Sent Home? (PHOTOS, VIDEOS)
It was a tough night for Paula Abdul, as two of her groups received the lowest number of votes and therefore had to sing for their lives during the final showdown. We start off the night with the Top 12 performing together, obviously lip syncing (ahem, LeRoy Bell) which prompted Fox to release this statement: ?All survival songs are performed live, with just a backing track. For the group ensemble performance, the vocals are pre-recorded to allow acts to concentrate on preparing for their own live competitive performances� ? this is also no different to what other competition shows do for ensemble performances.? But before those results, the acts talk about what it would be like to star in their own Pepsi commercial. Blah, blah, blah. The mentors and their acts are introduced on stage.
