ESPN Fires Hank Williams Jr.

Monday Night Football will no longer feature Hank Williams Jr. in the opening. ESPN has given the country singer his walking papers. ESPN and Hank Williams Jr. have parted ways due to his controversial comments the other day about President Obama. If you recall at the last minute the opening of the game between the Colts and the Buccaneers was changed and did not feature Williams infamous ?Are You Ready For Some Football? opening. In case you are living in a bubble and are unaware of what Hank said you can check out the below video which has the oh so inappropriate comments in it. Although the sports network is saying that it has dropped Williams, the singer is saying that he is in fact the one who parted ways with the network. Yes we clearly have a he said/he said situation going on here but all in all not a big surprise that Hank will no longer be involved in Monday Night Football. Personally I loved that opening.
