Jersey Shore Premiere Posts Record Ratings
The Jersey Shore Season 3 premiere was watched by 8.4 million people. In addition to being MTV’s most-watched event of all time, that's up there with, if not surpassing, the viewership of many big-name network shows. Some critics say the premise of the show (yelling, drinking, hooking up) is becoming stale by season three, but the huge ratings suggest otherwise.
