Ben Affleck Shows Pride in "Argo" During TIFF

Gathering together to talk about their new film, the stars of ?Argo? were on hand at this year?s Toronto International Film Festival on Saturday (September 8).
Taking on the roles of writer, director, actor and producer, Ben Affleck was the star of the group as he showed off his impeccable looks in a grey suit jacket and dark jeans.
The 40-year-old was joined by Bryan Cranston, Rory Cochrane, Victor Garber, Scoot McNairy, Alan Arkin, Tate Donovan, Kerry Bishe and John Goodman.
When it comes to the highly anticipated film it follows the story of the Iranian revolution as it reaches a boiling point. A CIA 'exfiltration' specialist concocts a risky plan to free six Americans who have found shelter at the home of the Canadian ambassador.
When discussing the thriller, Affleck said, ?The idea they came up with was to pretend they were all on a location scout for a movie. They went to Hollywood and basically put together the back-story for a fake movie. They took out ads, did a read-through, all the real things a real movie would have to do."
Ben added, "It's really a movie about Canadian heroics and the relationship between Canada and America. Once you see the movie, you'll see how it resonates, the theme of, 'Thank you, Canada.'"
?Argo? is set to release on October 12.
