It seems it might be time for all of us Notebook lovers to finally give up on the dream that former on-and-off-screen lovers Rachel McAdams and Ryan Gosling will ever reunite.
McAdams, 32, has been sporting a brand new sparkler on a her ring finger, which has some buzzing that she and her boyfriend of nine months, Michael Sheen, are ready to walk down the aisle.
So, is Rachel ready to become Mrs. Sheen? Not exactly.
"This isn't true -- they are not engaged," Clair Dobbs, Sheen's rep, told E! News.
Still, McAdams and Sheen, 42, (who hit it off last year while costarring in Woody Allen's upcoming Midnight in Paris) look very happy together. And they certainly don't shy away from PDAs!
Sheen (who plays vampire Aro in the Twilight films) was previously married to Kate Beckinsale, with whom he has a 12-year-old daughter, Lily. McAdams may not be ready to become a stepmom just yet -- but we'll definitely be keeping an eye on them!
