Sneak Peek Week kicked off strong with Kristen Stewart and Sam Claflin bringing you an exclusive look at "Snow White and the Huntsman" on Tuesday. On Wednesday, the cast of "That's My Boy," including Andy Samberg, Will Forte and Vanilla Ice, kept everyone laughing with a sneak peek at their R-rated comedy. And the first looks continue as Channing Tatum and Matthew McConaughey hit Universal's CityWalk to bring us "Magic Mike" on Thursday (May 31).
The film is loosely based on Tatum's time as a stripper. He plays an exotic dancer named Mike who takes newbie performer the Kid (Alex Pettyfer) under his wing to teach him the ways of partying, women and money. Watch as Tatum and McConaughey reveal it all live on MTV at 11 p.m. ET, and log on to MTV.com immediately after to catch a Q&A with the actors. As if the film's plot isn't enough to get you to tune in, here are five reasons to check it out!

His presence nearly led to a riot in Norway yesterday, but Justin Bieber eventually took to the stage in Oslo and gave fans a reason to yell and scream aside from his winning smile.
The teenage sensation debuted a pair of new songs during the taping for Justin Bieber: All Around the World, an NBC special that will air on June 21.
As you might expect, both tracks - "All Around the World" and "As Long As You Love Me" - were met with thunderous applause. They follow in the release of another single ("Die in Your Arms") off Bieber's upcoming album, "Believe," and you can watch each below.

Islamic hard-liners worry that sexy clothes and dancing will corrupt youth.

<P><a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/lady_gaga/artist.jhtml">Lady Gaga</a> lives to provoke and push the envelope. But not everyone is up for her antics. The "Americano" singer has been forced to cancel her sold-out June 3 "Born This Way Ball" show at the 52,000-seat Gelora Bung Karno stadium in Jakarta, Indonesia after Islamic hard-liners and conservative lawmakers said her sexy costumes, suggestive dance moves and "vulgar" style could corrupt the nation's youth.</P><P>According to the <a href="http://news.yahoo.com/lady-gaga-cancel-indonesia-concert-093021436.html" target="_blank"><I>Associated Press</I></a>, a spokesperson for the national police said on Tuesday (May 15) that the permit for the show has been denied after religious conservatives worried that the concert could undermine the nation's moral fiber. Some of the critics actually threatened to use physical force to prevent Gaga from getting off her plane. Though Indonesia is a secular state, it has the world's largest population of Muslims and a small extremist fringe of religious leaders has been more vocal in recent years.</P><P></p><div class="player-placeholder right" title="Lady Gaga Will Bring a 'Personal' Touch To 'Born This Way' Tour" id="vid:717952" width="415" height="255"></div><p></P><P>"She's a vulgar singer who wears only panties and a bra when she sings and she stated she is the envoy of the devil's child and that she will spread satanic teaching," said Salim Alatas, the Jakarta head of hardline Islamic Defender Front (FPI), according to <a href="http://www.reuters.com/article/2012/05/15/entertainment-us-indonesia-gaga-idUSBRE84E0HQ20120515" target="_blank"><I>Reuters</I></a>. "This is dangerous."</P><P>Local police worried that they might not be able to guarantee security at the show and suggested to national police that the permit for what was to be Gaga's biggest gig on her current Asian tour be pulled. Every seat at the Karno stadium had been sold, with half of them going in the first two hours.</P><P>The <I>AP</I> reported that permits for shows are typically issued three weeks before concerts in Jakarta, so it is not uncommon for tickets to be sold well ahead of receiving a final permit. Gaga's Asian tour started last month and the Indonesian flap is not the first bump she's faced along the road. Lady Gaga Responds To Islamic Threats Over Indonesia Show
Gaga's tour promoters are negotiating with government officials for Jakarta concert to go forward despite threats from extremist groups.

<P><a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/lady_gaga/artist.jhtml"> Lady Gaga</a> has responded to the increasingly volatile situation surrounding her "Born This Way" concert in Indonesia, saying on Twitter that she has been asked by authorities to censor her show and has received threats of violence from Islamic hardliners should it go on as planned.</P><P><a href="/news/articles/1685092/lady-gaga-cancels-show-indonesia.jhtml">Earlier reports indicated</a> that Gaga's planned June 3 concert at Jakarta's Gelora Bung Karno Stadium had been canceled after Indonesian national police refused to issue a permit, citing objections from Islamic groups who worried that Gaga's performance would corrupt the nation's youth. However, Gaga's tour promoters are currently negotiating with government officials and police for the concert to go forward as planned.</P><P></p><div class="player-placeholder right" title="Lady Gaga Will Bring a 'Personal' Touch To 'Born This Way' Tour" id="vid:717952" width="415" height="255"></div><p></P><P>"The Jakarta situation is 2-fold: Indonesian authorities demand I censor the show & religious extremist separately, are threatening violence," Gaga <a href="http://twitter.com/#!/ladygaga/status/204810085438984192">tweeted</a> Tuesday (May 22). "If the show does go on as scheduled, I will perform the BTWBall alone."</P><P>Fifty thousand tickets for the show have been sold.</P><P>While Indonesia is a secular state governed as a multi-party representative democratic republic, it has the world's largest population of Muslims, most of whom practice a moderate form of the religion. However, there are also more extremist fringe groups that have in recent years become increasingly vocal, particularly regarding Western entertainers visiting the country. Beyonc é, for example, was <a href="http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,298736,00.html" target="_blank">permitted to perform</a> in Indonesia — the world's fourth most populous nation — on the condition she agreed to dress more conservatively.</P><P>But these groups' problems with Gaga extend beyond her wardrobe. The country's top Islamic body, the National Ulema Council (MUI), has said it objects to the concert not only because of her provocative costumes, but because it considers her lyrics to be "blasphemous," according to the <a href="http://www.google.com/hostednews/afp/article/ALeqM5ic8EgZisBRUuvNPTU_HDXrzTiMtA?docId=CNG.c8ee78b51ef9bf3593b67500bd8a8817.3d1"><i>AFP</i></a>.</P><P>"Lady Gaga is considered an icon for liberal culture and Indonesia's freedom is not without limits," MUI official Asrorun Niam told <i>AFP</i>. "There are restrictions related to norms, morals and religion."</P><P>A more militant group, the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI), said it would "create havoc" if the pop star's performance went ahead, calling her the "devil's messenger." The <a href="http://www.thejakartaglobe.com/home/hard-line-fpi-buys-150-tickets-to-stop-lady-gaga-concert/519194" target="_blank"><i>Jakarta Globe</i></a> reports the FPI have purchased 150 tickets to the concert, promising to enter the venue and stop the concert.</P><P>A spokesperson for FPI stressed that the group would not attack the audience, as their only target was Gaga and her crew. The group posted to its Facebook page a photo of a member wearing a turban and sunglasses to conceal his face, holding a ticket to the show with a caption reading, "We have gotten Lady Gaga tickets, not to watch but for us to enter. Whatever will be will be, we're ready for the risk."</P><P>"Hopefully, the concert is canceled," the FPI has said. The group previously threatened to intercept Gaga in transit from the airport if she even enters Indonesia.</P><P>Despite the threats, lawyers representing Gaga's tour production company reportedly met with Jakarta police today to negotiate the conditions necessary for the concert to go on as scheduled. A Jakarta police spokesman has said that for the concert to go ahead, concert promoters need to secure permits from the tourism ministry and the concert venue owner, in addition to ensuring Gaga "is dressed appropriately and does not violate cultural norms in this country."</P><P>Gaga also <a href="http://www.cnn.com/2012/05/21/showbiz/gaga-manila/index.html" target="_blank">encountered protests</a> in the Philippines from conservative Christian groups ahead of her concerts in Manila, but seemed in good spirits despite the controversy, <a href="http://twitter.com/#!/ladygaga/status/204844867359211520" target="_blank">tweeting</a>, "And don't worry, if I get thrown in jail in Manila, Beyonce will just bail me out. The Best Kiss award at the MTV Movie Awards is arguably the fans' favorite category to vote on.
For the past three years in a row, the honor has been bestowed upon "Twilight" co-stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart for their smooches as Edward Cullen and Bella Swan. This year, they're up against some hefty competition: Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling in "Crazy, Stupid, Love," Emma Watson and Rupert Grint in "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2," Rachel McAdams and Channing Tatum in "The Vow" and, their biggest opponents, Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson in "The Hunger Games." While the winner is anybody's guess, we're wondering which couple deserves the award.
There's no one better to answer our question than Robin Thicke, who's managed to croon his way into the hearts of many ladies. The musician tells MTV News that the Best Kiss award should go to the most "powerful" smooch.
"You have to build up the tension, because the kiss is the release," the "Exhale (Shoop Shoop)" singer said. "The kiss is the moment when the strings come in, and all of the danger and the anger and the frustration and the loss — the kiss becomes redemption. It takes you out of purgatory and into the gates of heaven. A kiss has to be that powerful, in my opinion."
If fans honor Thicke's definition when they vote, it sounds like Hutcheron and Lawrence could take home the coveted golden popcorn. Their characters, Katniss and Peeta, are in danger while they're stuck in a cave, she could lose him if he dies from his injuries, and he's frustrated and angry that she wants to head into the bloodbath of the Cornucopia to save him. With a single kiss, all that tension is released. Sounds like they're a shoe-in, right?

When Beyoncé sat down for the interview, it appeared that the bump deflated, prompting many to wonder if the pop singer was really pregnant or faking it.</P><P>Now, months after the birth of her daughter, Blue Ivy, Beyoncé is talking to <i>People</i> magazine, about the gossip. "That was crazy. It wasn't hurtful, it was just crazy," she says in the Most Beautiful issue, in which she was named the world's <a href="/news/articles/1683832/beyonce-people-most-beautiful-woman.jhtml">Most Beautiful Woman</a>, <a href="http://www.tvguide.com/News/Beyonce-Calls-Fake-1046635.aspx" target="_blank">TVGuide.com reports</a>. Warner Brothers Pictures released its third television spot for its highly anticipated summer release of ?The Dark Knight Rises? on Sunday night (May 27).
The 30-second clip gives audiences a small look into the action-packed superhero movie without giving away any crucially important details.
Two banners were also released for Christopher Nolan?s epic third installment for his Batman series featuring Anne Hathaway and Christian Bale as Catwoman and Batman, respectively.
The film also stars Tom Hardy, Gary Oldman, Marion Cotillard, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Michael Caine and Morgan Freeman and comes to theaters on July 20.

He told MTV News' Sway Calloway the song is a "nostalgic record" that reflects the album's ambitious aim to represent the variety of musical experiences that have impacted the R&B superstar.</P><P>" 'Twisted' is more of a nostalgic record, so when you think about the classic R&B record, we managed a way to modernize it, even though that's very relevant," the singer said. "You hear records like Cee Lo, you hear Bruno Mars and also Andre 3000, and that sound is very relevant in this time. Now, I think music should be used as a channel to really allow people to have different experiences. So, this album is all about bottling up those different experiences."</P><P>The connecting tissue that's given Usher the ability to explore world music — from full-on dance tracks like his new single "Scream" and his collaboration with David Guetta, "Without You," to more classic R&B slow jams like "Climax" and the old-school spare drum beat of "Twisted" — while delivering cohesive records has been his voice, which he said brings "the essence of soul and emotion" to each record.</P><P>"All of my career is kind of an unveiling, an unfolding story, and it ain't done. There's so much more that I'm going to do, so much that I've now just been interested in and been introduced to," he continued. Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have taken their love affair to Cannes. The small-screen reality siren and the filmmaker/MC made a date night of West's "Cruel Summer" premiere this week in the famed French seaside town, where Kim showed up in a beaded white and gold dress, and Kanye had a more relaxed look , wearing a white blazer with a white T-shirt and jeans.
According to People.com, before the couple entered the premiere, the wind blew through Kardashian's hair and West stopped to fix it for her. Inside the bash, which was held in a tented pyramid, the PDA didn't end. As the screening wrapped, Kim reportedly whispered something in Kanye's ear before joining in a standing ovation for the rapper. They were spotted nuzzling later at the afterparty.
The film premiere was just the latest stop on Kim and Kanye's Tour de Cannes. One night earlier, they hit up Yeezy's "Cruel Summer" fete, and on Tuesday they attended a party thrown by Diddy, E! News reported. The pair turned up at his yacht party hand-in hand, with Kardashian wearing a lacy cropped top and matching high-waisted skirt, and West in a black hoodie, black tee and jeans.
While Kim initially arrived in France solo, West met up with her later. "It's my first time to Cannes and it's amazing!" Kardashian told Usmagazne.com. "I love it here."

'The first reaction is like no other,' Usher says on 'MTV First' about witnessing Bieber's ascent to fame.

<P>Back in 1994, a teenaged <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/usher/artist.jhtml">Usher</a> dropped his self-titled debut album and skyrocketed to fame. Nearly 20 years later, Usher is still on top, having lost little career momentum. While he's maintained his own career over the years, he also helped launch <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/bieber_justin/artist.jhtml">Justin Bieber</a> to mega-fame as well.</P><P>As Bieber continues to grow as an artist, Usher explained that the 18-year-old has built up the kinds of friendships and relationships that he would have wanted as a kid star. "Cool part about it is, he's really able to live a dream that I think most teenagers would want to. To be able to have friends like Mayweather. They are actual friends, hang out, talk," Usher told MTV News during "MTV First" about Bieber's friendship with boxer <a href="/news/articles/1685155/50-cent-justin-bieber-floyd-mayweather-fan.jhtml">Floyd Mayweather</a>, who he recently hung out with in Las Vegas. "It's really cool to be able to have friends all around the world and people that can relate to your reality.</P><P></p><div class="player-placeholder right" title="Justin Bieber Battle-Dances At Usher's Listening Party" id="vid:767988.id:1685137" width="415" height="255"></div><p></P><P>"I don't think Michael [Jackson] had people like that," he continued. But we always show support for each other like that. We was housing a little bit."</P><P>The guys will soon go head to head on the <i>Billboard</i> charts: Usher is set to drop his album, <a href="/news/articles/1685178/usher-looking-4-myself.jhtml"><i>Looking 4 Myself</i></a>, on June 12, and one week later, Bieber will release <a href="/news/articles/1684079/justin-bieber-believe-album-cover.jhtml"><i>Believe</i></a>. Sadly, this season has been all Kris Jenner.
On last week's Keeping Up season premiere, Khloe Kardashian's paternity non-issues took center stage. This week, she's on the outs with Kourtney Kardashian.

Kourtney Kardashian is not a fan of her mom's book. Or new attitude. "My mom's just like, talking about some hot guy at the concert and I just find every little thing she's saying annoying," she says. "She's a married woman, it's just inappropriate."
It's the past that really bugs her though. The two have it out over her mother's affair and subsequent divorce, something that makes this contrived, scripted show feel real and close to home for the first time probably ever. Plus 30.
"I didn't do something on purpose to hurt you," Kris says. "I was too young and stupid to make a good decision. If I had to do it all over again obviously I wouldn't do it." No, Ryan Seacrest Productions would never have written it. Minus 20.
Plus 5 for Scott at least trying to be there for Kourtney.
Plus 25 for Kourt's apology and opening up at the end.
Kris just sucks, though. Minus 220. She'd say or do anything for money or fame. Yes, this is America and she's successful and blah-blah-blah. When your job is "momager," it's time to reassess your priorities in life. Honestly.
Plus 10 for Bruce taking Kim, Kendall and Kylie on a hike and chasing Kim around with a spider, which the arachnophobia-prone star HATES.
"It's just not funny, I am so afraid of spiders," Kim says. "He wants to mess around Well, Mr. Olympics can hurdle his way home. He can sprint, javelin his way, whatever." Plus only 5 because there's no way Kim thought up that good a line.
Kim plots revenge, letting Bruce borrow her Ferrari, then "stealing" it with her spare key and letting it believe it happened on his watch. A little different than chasing a person with a spider, no? Minus only 5, because it is clever.
Plus 10 for Scott giving it away before Bruce had a heart attack.
Plus 10 more for Bruce giving props at being punked, though obviously Kim orchestrated none of that on her own. Nice going, producers!
Finally, Kylie Jenner is annoyed with sister Kendall's passiveness when they get a gig as a Seventeen West Coast Fashion Contributor. She's too shy!
On a trip to Malibu to find new models, Kylie ends up being the only one taking action while Kendall sticks to the sidelines. By definition, Wash.
After Kylie vents to Kim Kardashian about Kendall's lack of teamwork, the older sister does her best to impart some important words of "wisdom."
"You have to figure out what your strengths and weaknesses are and meet in the middle," Kim says, adding that Kourt and Khloe helped bring her out of her shy stage.
Well, those two and Ray J. Plus 50.

'Dark Knight Rises' TV Spots: A Lighter Side Of Batman

As the "Dark Knight" prepares to rise, two new TV spots that hit the Web on Thursday (May 24) let us in on the lighter side of the series closer, which, until now, has been deathly serious.
Christopher Nolan's Batman films have never been all doom and gloom. Though they are known for their gritty tone and dark aesthetic, Nolan has never been afraid to throw in some humor (albeit dark humor) to lighten the mood. The first two TV spots for "The Dark Knight Rises" pack in a few of those familiar moments, including one of Catwoman doing what she does best: burgling.
The first 30-second commercial focuses primarily on Bruce Wayne's return. After going on the run because of the events surrounding Harvey Dent's death, Wayne needs to resurrect the Batman, and he reaches out to the man who made all his bat-gadgetry possible, Lucius Fox, with Morgan Freeman making a welcome return.
Selina Kyle (a.k.a. Catwoman), portrayed by Anne Hathaway, holds the spotlight in the second spot, which plays up the teasing dynamic between the famous cat burglar and the Batman. Having talked and danced briefly at the masquerade ball we've already seen in a few trailers, Bruce goes to fetch his Lamborghini from the valet. Unfortunately, Wayne's "wife" got to it first.
Additionally, a handful of hi-res stills from the film have appeared over at Batman-News.com, featuring Joseph Gordon-Levitt's John Blake and an interesting look at Batman, Catwoman and Bane in an industrial complex, presumably before a fight seen in the trailer.
With a little less than two months to go until the film's release, "The Dark Knight Rises" is shaping up to be a movie not only worthy of its series, but one that deserves a fever pitch of anticipation.

God Forgives, but Rick Ross does not. Still, as apathetic as the Bawse may portray himself, Rozay has a sweet spot when it comes to the ladies. So on "Touch 'N You," the new big money single off of Ross' upcoming God Forgives, I Don't, the Maybach CEO and guest star Usher Raymond show a little love to the hunnies.
"It's a real sexy record. I wanted to make sure the ladies knew that they could be a part of this movement, a part of this project," Rick Ross told MTV News on Thursday (May 24) from the "Touch 'N You" video set in Atlanta. "I would never let the ladies down even if it's a real hard album or however it may be titled."
The upcoming clip is directed by Chris Robinson (Lil Wayne "How to Love," Jay-Z "Roc Boys") and will of course co-star Usher. "It's an incredible one, Chris once again comes together making an incredible video," Usher told us. "It is a conceptual video depicting the world that Rozay is in. My participation is just to show up and be cool."
Cool is an understatement when it comes to Usher, who is riding high off of his #1 Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Song "Climax." Ross is no stranger to love songs either; he's given the ladies plenty to swoon over on singles like 2008's "Here I Am" and 2010's "Aston Martin Music," but having Ush on a track adds a certain appeal.
The combination of Raymond's vocals and the sexy "Touch 'N You" video should be just enough to help Rozay properly put his feelings in perspective. Sometimes after long studio sessions with Meek Mill, Wale and the rest of his MMG compadres, the Bawse just needs to get away, and that's what he aims to capture in the clip. "It's basically like a situation where life gets so hectic sometimes you just want to get away with that special female and that's what this was based off," he said.

Lady Gaga Responds To Islamic Threats Over Indonesia Show
Gaga's tour promoters are negotiating with government officials for Jakarta concert to go forward despite threats from extremist groups.

<P><a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/lady_gaga/artist.jhtml"> Lady Gaga</a> has responded to the increasingly volatile situation surrounding her "Born This Way" concert in Indonesia, saying on Twitter that she has been asked by authorities to censor her show and has received threats of violence from Islamic hardliners should it go on as planned.</P><P><a href="/news/articles/1685092/lady-gaga-cancels-show-indonesia.jhtml">Earlier reports indicated</a> that Gaga's planned June 3 concert at Jakarta's Gelora Bung Karno Stadium had been canceled after Indonesian national police refused to issue a permit, citing objections from Islamic groups who worried that Gaga's performance would corrupt the nation's youth. However, Gaga's tour promoters are currently negotiating with government officials and police for the concert to go forward as planned.</P><P></p><div class="player-placeholder right" title="Lady Gaga Will Bring a 'Personal' Touch To 'Born This Way' Tour" id="vid:717952" width="415" height="255"></div><p></P><P>"The Jakarta situation is 2-fold: Indonesian authorities demand I censor the show & religious extremist separately, are threatening violence," Gaga <a href="http://twitter.com/#!/ladygaga/status/204810085438984192">tweeted</a> Tuesday (May 22). However, there are also more extremist fringe groups that have in recent years become increasingly vocal, particularly regarding Western entertainers visiting the country. Beyonc é, for example, was <a href="http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,298736,00.html" target="_blank">permitted to perform</a> in Indonesia — the world's fourth most populous nation — on the condition she agreed to dress more conservatively.</P><P>But these groups' problems with Gaga extend beyond her wardrobe. The country's top Islamic body, the National Ulema Council (MUI), has said it objects to the concert not only because of her provocative costumes, but because it considers her lyrics to be "blasphemous," according to the <a href="http://www.google.com/hostednews/afp/article/ALeqM5ic8EgZisBRUuvNPTU_HDXrzTiMtA?docId=CNG.c8ee78b51ef9bf3593b67500bd8a8817.3d1"><i>AFP</i></a>.</P><P>"Lady Gaga is considered an icon for liberal culture and Indonesia's freedom is not without limits," MUI official Asrorun Niam told <i>AFP</i>. "There are restrictions related to norms, morals and religion."</P><P>A more militant group, the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI), said it would "create havoc" if the pop star's performance went ahead, calling her the "devil's messenger." The <a href="http://www.thejakartaglobe.com/home/hard-line-fpi-buys-150-tickets-to-stop-lady-gaga-concert/519194" target="_blank"><i>Jakarta Globe</i></a> reports the FPI have purchased 150 tickets to the concert, promising to enter the venue and stop the concert.</P><P>A spokesperson for FPI stressed that the group would not attack the audience, as their only target was Gaga and her crew. The group posted to its Facebook page a photo of a member wearing a turban and sunglasses to conceal his face, holding a ticket to the show with a caption reading, "We have gotten Lady Gaga tickets, not to watch but for us to enter. Whatever will be will be, we're ready for the risk."</P><P>"Hopefully, the concert is canceled," the FPI has said. The group previously threatened to intercept Gaga in transit from the airport if she even enters Indonesia.</P><P>Despite the threats, lawyers representing Gaga's tour production company reportedly met with Jakarta police today to negotiate the conditions necessary for the concert to go on as scheduled. A Jakarta police spokesman has said that for the concert to go ahead, concert promoters need to secure permits from the tourism ministry and the concert venue owner, in addition to ensuring Gaga "is dressed appropriately and does not violate cultural norms in this country."</P><P>Gaga also <a href="http://www.cnn.com/2012/05/21/showbiz/gaga-manila/index.html" target="_blank">encountered protests</a> in the Philippines from conservative Christian groups ahead of her concerts in Manila, but seemed in good spirits despite the controversy, <a href="http://twitter.com/#!/ladygaga/status/204844867359211520" target="_blank">tweeting</a>, "And don't worry, if I get thrown in jail in Manila, Beyonce will just bail me out. Charlize Theron Gives Dirty Details About Michael Fassbender

If you've been following our coverage of "Snow White and the Huntsman," you're likely aware that we've been lucky enough to spend some quality time with the fun-loving and charming Charlize Theron. And while we've enjoyed her tales of dangerous costumes and the "angular nudity" that was involved with that production, we cannot ignore the fact that the South African-born beauty is in another highly anticipated blockbuster this summer, "Prometheus."
In knowing that the majority of the plot details of Ridley Scott's "Alien"-esque film are top secret, we knew that Theron wouldn't be able to reveal any major spoilers, so when we brought up the subject with her recently we went at it from a different angle, asking about her co-star Michael Fassbender's performance. Specifically, how much will we see of his celebrity-celebrated penis?
"Oh my god. I don't think it was available," Theron deadpanned when we asked exactly how much of Fassbender's member made the final cut. "It was shooting the sequel for 'Shame' so we couldn't get it for 'Prometheus.' "
Theron continued with the joke and claimed that she never got an opportunity to see it in the flesh (pun intended) because "it" was always working somewhere else.
"I had to see it, because it was gone, so it was on dailies from New York. It's a hitch penis," she added with a laugh. "The penis attaches and works separately, it's a whole working entity."
Just to clarify, there is no Fassbender penis in "Prometheus." All we know for sure about the Golden Globe-nominated actor's work in the film is that he plays a technically advanced android.
"David [is] a robot on board, kind of like a butler in space," Fassbender has said about his role as a human-like android that works as the ship's maintenance man. "He's making sure that everybody is going through cryostasis correctly, that the ship's in good working order, and that they're on course to go where they need to go."

Tying up some loose ends before the holiday weekend, Jessica Alba tended to a meeting at her office in Santa Monica, California this afternoon (May 25).

Robert Pattinson: Working With 'Cosmopolis' Director Was 'A Relief'

Director David Cronenberg's "Cosmopolis" received mixed reviews after its debut at the 2012 Cannes Film Festival on Friday (May 25). Critics were split on whether they felt Robert Pattinson was right for the lead role. Some felt his performance was bland, but others thought he nailed the part, fitting well into the director's vision.
During a press conference for the film, Pattinson explained why he and Cronenberg work well together, chalking it up to Cronenberg's careful direction.
"If [a director's] sitting on the set, a bunch of people will ask you questions all the time," he said. "And then a lot of directors, I find, are kind of exhausted by the time they're actually supposed to do their job with the actors. They're not really listening anymore. I think David is listening so intently when you're doing a scene. ... When you feel something in a scene, you know that he's seen it, which is such a relief. And it makes you actually pay attention to what you're doing as well."
Cronenberg also made Pattinson aware of different camera angles and how the placement of cameras can greatly affect his performance.
"I think a lot of directors and actors refuse to accept anything about camera technique," Pattinson continued. "[Cronenberg was] completely frank about it and [said], 'Listen, if I put a camera here, it's going to totally affect the way you perform.' And it really did, the blocking was like direction, which I never really experienced before."
"Cosmopolis" follows Eric Packer (Pattinson) in a futuristic New York City. As he's chauffeured through Manhattan on his way to get a haircut, the world is falling apart around him — protestors are rioting, his marriage is failing, his vast financial status is declining and he soon discovers clues that reveal an attempt on his life.
When asked how he prepared for the taxing role, Pattinson told the audience he spent a lot of the time concerned over how his performance would come together. "I kind of spent two weeks in my hotel room worrying and confusing myself. And I remember the weekend before shooting, I called David — because we had no rehearsals — to talk to him about it. [I said,] 'I just wanted to sort of ask one question,' " he recalled, mimicking his timid tone. "He said, 'Do you want to talk about the movie for a second?' So I went to his house and I think he just said that it doesn't really matter: 'Let's just start and something will happen.' "
Worrying aside, Pattinson found a way to bring his character to life. He didn't improvise scenes and he didn't change any of the lines. He stuck to the script and followed Cronenberg's vision for his character as it was laid out in front of him.
"I think [Eric Packer's] impossible to approach like you would a normal character," he said. "What I liked about the script initially was its lyricism and just the rhythms of it. Normally when you do a movie, you can kind of blur the lines and make it your own. But with this, I didn't want to change a single word, even the punctuation. That made it easier, it's like you're doing a song instead of a movie. It freed you up. If you're trying to do something in a cerebral way, it becomes about ego and it's silly at that point."
Did Pattinson find similarities between himself and his character?
"I do think people are trying to kill me all the time," he joked.
